Coach English was a four-year letter winner at Manhasset high school and he finished his career with 189 goals and 67 assists. Inside Lacrosse had him listed as the No. 7 recruit overall in the country and the No. 1 attackman following his prep career. The 2009 Long Island Player of the Year, English was a two-time All-American and player in the Under Armour All-American game. He led all of Long Island in scoring in 2009 and helped the Indians to win the New York State championship with a record-tying nine-goal performance in the title game vs. LaFayette, earning him tournament MVP honors. That same season English also matched the school’s season goal scoring record with 81 goals and 20 assists. He was a three-time all-county selection, was named the 2008 Nassau County Attackman of the Year and won two gold medals in the Empire State games. English was also a three-time academic all-county selection.
In College, Connor has won an ACC Championship, an Ivy League Championship, and also a National Championship. Throughout his time at UVA and Cornell Connor totaled 70 points in NCAA play. He was also the number 4 play on Sports Center his Senior Year.
